Campaign is a single player mode that takes you across the continent of Totemica. You take the role of Zan, a monster hunter, who will eventually be joined by Aria, a traveler. During your travels, you will encounter many strong enemies, so you better be prepared! This is a great mode for players who are new to Totemica: Duelist. It starts off rather easy and slowly gets tougher, giving players plenty of coins and cards in the meantime.
Campaign presents itself as a series of maps. These maps have 4 different types of markers:
Red gems represent areas or encounters that have not yet been cleared. Clicking on one will present any necessary dialogue, then send you into battle. If you win the battle, you are rewarded with the standard pay for winning a battle, plus more for clearing the encounter for the first time. Some encounters will also reward you with a card.
Blue gems represent areas or encounters that have been cleared already. You will be able to fight the encounter again, but the dialogue and one-time rewards will not be present.
Yellow gems will trigger an event. Some events merely advance the plot, while other will give you one-time rewards. Some can even take you to a different area within the map. Most will become useless after you visit them once. Any gems that lead you to a different area will continue to do so.
Green gems take you out of the current map and back to the map of the continent.
